The food was delicious. Got three very different dishes (on purpose) and they were each delicious. Great service too. Patient server (we're pretty indecisive). Clean bathrooms.

This is a very good Chinese soup place that is focused on medicinal quality fo the soup and ingredients. The flavors were very good and the dishes are interesting.

Imperial Soup replaces Happy Cafe with similar layout, but different offerings. For three weeks the place was shuttered, but just recently open back. I passed by on my way to Alameda and noticed it had reopen. I order hainese chicken with rice for under ten bucks. Chicken wasn't the best I had, but passable for the location and what it offers. It was drier than usual with rice a little hard. Ginger scallions dipping sauce had an off flavor, but presentation was good. Silver lining for them is breakfast from $4.99-5.99 and lunch/dinner entrees under $10 with the exception of combo family meals.
